At times we can feel as if we are being attacked on every front. No matter which direction you turn, out of the blue something else has gone terribly wrong. Your entire world seems completely unrecognizable from the day before.
When things get tough, we all need to look to the source of our strength rather than getting caught up in everything that's going wrong.
Mom and I had a bit of quiet time as we were driving to the vets today. (Yups Mom found out Tabby has worms and guess who ate his poo before Mom could stop me!) That's right, little ole me. BOL This translates to Mom and I going to the vetsters with a poo sample from Tabby Cat and myself today. Mom couldn't have been happier! Just ask her. :-D
At times when things get truly hectic the only time we have to focus our hearts on our Father is while Mom's driving from one place to the other with a praise CD playing as we're in route to our destination. (usually the vets) Today Mom and I listened to a CD by Matt Maher.
The song that spoke to where we're at right now is Everything is Grace.
The lyrics that sum what we're going though the best are;
Whatever comes my way
I will walk through the flames
You’re turning my fear to faith
My doubt to praise
And everything is grace
When things go crazy, God truly is the peace in the eye of the storm. When you feel as if you're walking in the fire, He's the one that will get you through it.
Mom and I may be getting to the back side of this storm, as we can see that everything that has been happening in our life, is indeed God's Grace. If it weren't for the storms and the fire, we'd never have gotten to the point where we would admit we can't do it on our own, and then witness the miracle of God's grace as we let go, and He does it through us.
We hope our sharing a part of what we're going through helps you as you go through your own personal storms, and may we remember the scripture," When we are weak, then He is strong"
Love and Peace,
Molly and my Mom
(This is the song that touched our hearts today. We hope it speaks to you as well.)
