I'm a pup with many furiends. Sadly I've never had the pleasure of meeting them all... We bark to each other most days and we keep up with how all our furiends are doing. We mention each other names in earnest prayers when we find out they're feeling poorly. There are even pups that post a daily prayer list on Twitter, and Blogville for dogs.
We are many different breeds of pups spread across the world but united in our concern and love for each other. The thing that touches Mom and I hearts is knowing there are pups we'll never meet face to face that are concerned and praying for my eyesight. We thank you and appreciate it more than you'll ever know.
A pup asked me how I was doing this morning while I had Mom check my Twitter account. I'm doing great pawfuriends. I'm having a blast and life is good. I am blessed with more furiends and love than a single pup should have. I have pawrents that love me more than they love themselves. I have forest and fields I can roam to my heart's content hunting for squirrels or more fierce zombies.
It's a shame our hoomans don't take a page from our book and ignore the outer fur and trappings, and pay more attention to the inner things that truly matter in each other. We pups don't care if our furiends have long or short hair, if their color is black, white or blond.
People can't be united until they stop looking at each other's differences and pay more attention to the things they have in common. Peace and harmony isn't difficult to achieve unless hoomans make it difficult. Ask us dogs.
Love, Molly and my Mom
