Some of you may have noticed Mom and I MIA here lately.  I'm sorry about that, and I hope no one's become concerned.  All's well here.

I'm sure you remember reading something about my Mom having regained her health after being sick and housebound for a few years.  Well Mom's jumped out of her computer chair and into the front yard and has rarely looked back.  BOL

I'm having a hard time getting her to take care of my blogs and correspondence in a timely fashion these days.  I told Mom to stop her gardening and sit down a few min.s.  I told her we needed to have a chat about our blogging schedule.  I mentioned that pups and their hoomans like keeping up with what's going on here @ The Fast and The Furriest and that she'd been a bit lax on writing her blogs here lately.

Mom couldn't argue with that one as she knows she hasn't been as diligent as she should.  In her defense Mom has been working like a trojan in her new flower beds.

Five years ago just as Mom first got really sick Dad built her a Pergola to plant a flower garden around.  Sadly her health deteriorated to the point that the only thing she could do was take me for my walks.  Yups that was about all the old gal had in her.

Needless to say Mom's like a kid on spring break.  BOL  It's hard to keep her inside these days.  Mom's plans for the garden area are finally taking shape and becoming a reality.  With that being said it's a LOT of hard work.

We're getting outside early in the mornings and working until around lunch.  Then it's time for Mom to take care of the housework and rest a bit.  We'll go back out in the evenings from 6:00 pm until dark weeding and watering our new gardens.

The pawrents are going to be working on a rock walkway and stone floor for Mom's pergola now.  So it's going to be hard backbreaking manual labor for a while.

During our chat I mentioned to Mom that she needed to post a blog and let our readers know she's not going to be able to keep a schedule for our blogs.  (Mom may feel better than she has in years, but she's no spring chicken.  BOL  I know she doesn't want me to tell on her but a lot of days she'll come in and fall asleep in her chair.  She means to get on the computer and pop out a blog but she's simply run out of steam by the time evening gets here).

We hope you all understand our heart and mind are willing but Mom's old body simply isn't able to keep up with all our commitments at this time.

Angel Penny's Memorial stone arrived and that's placed in her garden.  Her Memorial statue of a sleeping Dachshund should be here in the next few days.

We thought we'd share a few pictures of the archway/entryway Dad got Mom for her garden and a few other pictures as well.

We'll blog as we get a break and catch you up on what we've been up to. Wishing you all a wonderful summer.

Love,

Molly and my Mom

We are glad you stopped by. We know humans have to work, and there is more noble work than making the Earth more beautiful. And now you will have lots of places to pose for your pretty pictures. We give a tip of the tail to your mom. There will be plenty to time to post blogs when the snow starts. Now go out and have fun.

Molly, I’m happy for your mom that she’s able to enjoy her gardening again. Your mom is doing a beautiful job with her garden projects. It’s a lot of work and time-consuming. I love the photos, and I’m looking forward to seeing more.

We totally understand Molly. It is the time of year when the peeps want to be outside and doing other things and we are sure your mom is really enjoying her garden - it is beautiful. Our mom is not being real helpful with ours either

Molly, we totally understand. It's all about prioritizing. Plus, your mom shouldn't be ashamed about falling asleep. That's quite a lot of work she's doing. We'll just be happy when you do post. Your garden is beautiful.

Hi sweetie. After having a bout with a illness and getting her energy back she just wants to enjoy life and her loves ( she loves you too sweetie ). I understand that posts may be sporadic but she loves to garden and I understand that. My wife loves to garden also but has been unable to this year. She has also had some health issues this year but may be turning the corner soon. Anyway love the blog and you guys. Hugs to all. 😀😀😀💖💖💖

Hi Everyone....I just wanted to drop in to say HI and check up on you guys. My Mom decided after 10 years of retirement to go back to work so I need a new secretary to help me with my blog. I've been MIA for so long and I miss all my furiends. Hugs to All...
