We all started off to pick up the tiller; in route the drizzle started, so that was the end of that. Our trip to pick up the garden equipment ended up being a drive through breakfast at Bo jangles. Oh well such is life. It was a quite ride home with everyone lost in their thoughts.
To be honest I'm kind of glad it's a chilly rainy day. I'm still a bit tired from our gardening marathon over the weekend. In fact I'm snoozing on the couch as my secretary takes care of my social media commitments.
Right before I dozed off I asked Mom what she would be doing now if I hadn't come into her life those 5 years ago. I fell asleep before Mom could reply.
Molly's Mom here. One thing's for sure, If not for Molly I never would have gotten involved with social media. I've always enjoyed gardening, cooking, photo editing and web design. People and chatting not so much.
This little dog has added a whole new world to my life, and she's enriched it in more ways than I have words to describe. She's taken the things that interest me and shaped and molded them to become tools for her blogs and pictures. Her thoughts and opinions seem to have taken root in my mind and imagination, developing an entity of their own, coming to life and flowing through my fingertips when I sit at the computer.
Molly is a happy and positive force of nature. You simply can't be around her and not be affected by her cheerful and inquisitive personality. This little dog with her Joie de vivre found me at the perfect point in time for both of us. Neither one of us had a clue the paths our lives would take us on.
We formed a bond that is like no other I've ever had with any of my previous dogs. It's because of her being the dog she is, that I am the person I am today. It's funny how this little dog with her amazing smile and Joie de vivre could change the course of my life, as well as open doors that but for her, would have remained shut.
Looking at Molly sleeping contently on the couch, I whispered so I wouldn't wake her, "Molly I would have been happy in my quite existence, but I would have never experienced all the special things that you have added to my life. I would have never gotten to meet your furiends, grow as a digital artist, or even attempt to write. You are truly an amazing pup and an incredible force of nature.
Molly gives a closed eyed yawn and rolls over, clueless to the tale being written and thoughts shared by her devoted secretary/Mom.
Love, Molly and my Mom
