This is supposed to be the snow of all snows this time. They're calling for 5-7 inches. Possibly more in places. We'll see how that all works out.
Mom and Dad are coving a place in the yard for me to take care of personal business. (5-7 inches is almost taller than I am so we can see the importance in that) They're getting the generator out and filling it with gas as well as extra gas (the news is mentioning the possibility of power outages, which is a big deal period, but with the low being projected at 3 degrees one morning is rather serious).
~SIGH~ My question has been Mom we're still going on walkies right??? Mom doesn't say much when I ask. You all know how much I love my walkies and I know my woods and fields will be beautiful dressed in a winter blanket of fresh fallen snow. Mom secretly has plans of finding some way to pull me behind her as she hikes through the snow, but hasn't come up with a concrete idea of how to go about it yet. (Yups us pups can read our pawrents minds) ;-)
We know most the neighbors here in our little part of the south are hoping for no snow. Mom and I not so much, a little snow would be appreciated. Just enough to be pretty for a couple of days and add a little spice to our 2017.
Keep us die hard southerners in your prayers dear furiends as we're typically a snow free zone and it's been a longgg time since this part of the south has seen 3 degrees.
Wishing you all a wonderful 2017 and praying you're not seeing 3 degrees and snow.
It's a sad thing if we can't laugh at ourselves every now and then. Here's a little grin for you at a Southerns expense. (Thanks for the share Auntie Barbara).
Love, Molly and my Mom
