We pups hold in high regards those dogs that have tiny hoomans. Little hoomans are special creatures with exceptionally tender hearts. Their hearts are as close to a dogs heart as hooman hearts can get.
I've never met a little hooman in my lifetime, nor have I ever known a pup that had small hoomans. That is until I joined Twitter and met one of the coolest dogs I know. Adding bonus points to her coolness scale is the fact that she has two tiny hoomans. Yups that put her off the charts in my book.
I had lost my sight at the time I met Bunny the owner of the small hoomans. Mom had posted a prayer request about my vision and Bunny saw it.
(Bunny is the go to pup on Twitter if you're a pup wanting the Big Guys ear concerning your health problems). That's right you read me correctly. Doggie prayers get heard and answered by the Big Guy on Twitter. Not only did Bunny RT my prayer request but she added my prayer request to a huge list of pups needing prayers. It got Tweeted and ReTweeted all over Twitter from one end of the earth to the other. Bunny is a special pup to us Dogs of Twitter, and she's a special pup to the Big Guy as well.
Bunny and I kept in touch and one day as we were barking she mentioned that her little hooman heard I'd lost my eyesight and wanted to send me a gift. It seems Bunny's tiny hooman had out grown his baby blanket and thought it might bring me some comfort now that I couldn't see. Now this right here made this salty ol' dogs eyes leak a bit.
My Mom is a big fan of saying life is what you make it...I used this small hooman as an example and told Mom, "No Mom sometimes life is made more dear and special by an unexpected gift from a tender loving heart".
