Welcome to Molly's Showcase Spot

This is the place that Mom and I will be exhibiting  some of our favorite artwork or as a means of paying tribute to  fellow artist.  

We have found some very talented and generous artist at different forums during our growth as a Digital Artist.   We wanted a place that we could give a little recognition to those that give so much of their talent and time in  providing us with the stock images that enables Mom and I to make our imagination a reality.

Winkin' Blinkin' and Nod

 Molly typically is the one that provides the inspiration in our fantasy art.  This time it was a memory from my childhood. The inspiration for this piece came from remembering the bedtime story Wynken, Blynken and Nod by Eugene Field (Please click the title of the bedtime story to read the full version there) my Mother would read me when I was a child. 

This picture wouldn't have been possible if not for the generosity of fellow artist  slifertheskydragon from DeviantArt. (Please click her name to see her gallery.)   There wasn't a stock sea serpent  image available. Silfertheskydragon kindly let me use hers.

Molly and I were looking for backgrounds and we stumbled across some graffitied  walls.  Molly peering over my shoulder kept telling me to go back and look again.  With her being the one with the vision and imagination I let her persuade me to use this background.  From the time we opened it in Photoshop until completion it took on a life of it's own.

Wolf Dreams

Molly is truly a fearless pup.  In her resides the heart of a valiant conqueror .  With that thought in mind she and I began mulling over various ideas in how to transfer or idea into art.  After we decided on the reflection idea we then had to find a background and a wolf to complete our picture.   We'd like to publicly thank Patrick Mcdonald from Deviant Art for the use of his beautiful wolf.
