About Molly and my Mom or (Welcome to Molly's Art Show Phase 2)

I am still my Mom's muse and inspiration.  She's the one who has taken the Photoshop classes and learned the technical aspect of our partnership, but I am the one possessing the imagination, and the visions for our collaborations.  I would like to think ours is a winning combination.

After several years of working in Photoshop, buying a few plug-in's and practicing with them, Mom went out and bought Corel Painter.  Every artist no matter what medium wants to branch out grow, and try different tools and techniques.  Initially Mom didn't think she was ever going to be able to learn how to use Painter.  Honestly there are many things that she'll  never understand how to use in this program, but Mom learned a little in what we want to use it for.

We still have a long ways to go to be the artist we want to be in Photoshop and Painter but we're enjoying the journey and we'd like to share some of our new work with you.

We were part of a social media group for pet owners.  We began posting under the pseudonym Molly & My Mom.  This was the birth of  Molly & My Mom pictures.  Our forum died a cyber death and we never really found our  new niche.  We're hoping Molly having her own blog will provide an outlet for this  fast and furriest little Dachshund's creative side.

(Halloween is our most favorite holiday of the year.  This page reflects our fascination in the supernatural and spooky. We hope you enjoy all our art, but we hope our Halloweenie pictures give you just a little tingle up your spine in anticipation of the goblins and ghouls that are waiting around the corner).
