About Molly and my Mom or (Welcome to Molly's Art Show)
I am my Mom's muse and inspiration. She's the one who has taken the Photoshop classes and learned the technical aspect of our partnership, but I am the one possessing the imagination, and the visions for our collaborations. I would like to think ours is a winning combination.
When I came to live here with my Mom and Dad their other Dachshund (my angel sister) had recently passed away...After her passing my pawrents discovered they didn't really have that many pictures of her. That all changed before I ever came to live here. Mom has pictures of me when I'm just a week old. She is one of those Mothers who takes pictures until you want to scream.
She also has a Photoshop addiction. After taking a couple of Photoshop classes and learning the boring, technical stuff, I started whispering ideas of adventures we could go on into my Mom's ear. It wasn't long before she and I began capturing these wonderful moments of fantasy adventures in our pictures.
We were part of a social media group for pet owners. We began posting under the pseudonym Molly & My Mom. This was the birth of Molly & My Mom pictures. Our forum died a cyber death and we never really found our new niche. We're hoping Molly having her own blog will provide an outlet for this fast and furriest little Dachshund's creative side.
Sincerely,
Molly & My Mom

The Lady in the Bottle
Molly told me a tale of walking along a deserted beach, and finding a wizards spell book. He had left his glasses on the open book marking a page. Molly getting closer reads the spell and finds a lady trapped in a bottle....
Molly Dreams of her Magical Buggy
Molly suffered a rather serious knee injury as a young pup and was on restricted activity. This didn't sit well with this fast and furriest little girl for long. We had to get her a doggy buggy so she could get outside and sniff and smell in her loved woods and fields. Here's a dream she had not long after taking her first buggy ride.
The Road Less Traveled
I could at times be something of a rebellious child, as I imagine we all could. I always had my dogs to go on hikes through the woods and fields here. This got me to thinking about how every child should have a dog for a companion and confidant, and their own guardian angel. I will admit this one is a bit different, but Molly and I both liked it.
Country Roads
We are very rural here. I remember walking down a dirt road very similar to this one going to visit my Grandmother as a child. Here's Molly and her best pal Tabby Cat going to get the mail for The Fast and Furriest.
Molly and Tabby Cats Unicorn Adventure
Molly is an incredible storyteller. She told me of she and Tabby Cat taking a stroll in the woods on a warm early fall day. They found a trail they had never seen before and began to follow the path deep into the woods. This is the amazing sight they saw...
Field of Dreams
Molly and I have a group of doggy friends on Facebook. It was late spring or early summer and someone had shared a post about a Mother with a very sick little child wanting people to send her son cards to hopefully lift his spirits. He is only 4 years old and had grown very tired of being so very sick, and always having to go to see his doctors. This deeply touched Molly and I's hearts as little children are supposed to be playing and having fun. Molly and I love doing pictures of fantasy adventures so we decided we'd do a Children and Dogs card Trilogy in honor of this little boy and send them to him.
So here's the first card we made in honor of this little boy.
