About Molly and my Mom or (Welcome to Molly's Art Show)
I am my Mom's muse and inspiration. She's the one who has taken the Photoshop classes and learned the technical aspect of our partnership, but I am the one possessing the imagination, and the visions for our collaborations. I would like to think ours is a winning combination.
When I came to live here with my Mom and Dad their other Dachshund (my angel sister) had recently passed away...After her passing my pawrents discovered they didn't really have that many pictures of her. That all changed before I ever came to live here. Mom has pictures of me when I'm just a week old. She is one of those Mothers who takes pictures until you want to scream.
She also has a Photoshop addiction. After taking a couple of Photoshop classes and learning the boring, technical stuff, I started whispering ideas of adventures we could go on into my Mom's ear. It wasn't long before she and I began capturing these wonderful moments of fantasy adventures in our pictures.
We were part of a social media group for pet owners. We began posting under the pseudonym Molly & My Mom. This was the birth of Molly & My Mom pictures. Our forum died a cyber death and we never really found our new niche. We're hoping Molly having her own blog will provide an outlet for this fast and furriest little Dachshund's creative side.
Sincerely,
Molly & My Mom

Late Summer Daydreams
Molly and her friend appreciating all the joys that come with childhood and late summer afternoons.
Danger in the Night
Molly (and her friend linked by an indescribable bond ) sends her spirit to scare off a pack of wolves on a dark and stormy night.
The Music in my Heart, the Melody in my Soul
Molly is the music in my heart, and the inspiration in my soul. It isn't possible for me to put into words how this little Dachshund has affected me. There is a transformation that occurs in your heart ,and mind when you love something/someone more than you love yourself.
The bond that Molly and I have has taken us both on adventures neither would have been on without the other. It has also provided fuel for our imaginative stories and pictures. There is a quote by Roger Caras, "Dogs are not our whole lives but they make our lives whole", this sums up Molly and I's relationship.

Visiting Forest Friends
Molly sustained a rather serious knee injury as a puppy and it took several months to heal. She's a very active girl and the confinement and lack of her outside time soon took it's toll on her adventurous spirit. We got Molly a doggy buggy and began pushing her around our 10 acre hayfield. We'd take her out and let her sniff around a bit so she could find out what her forest friends were up to. We'd then load her back into her buggy, and wheel her to a new section of the hayfield. This made a tremendous difference to her state of mind.
Here's Molly in her magical buggy having a visit with her forest friends.

1920's Steam-punk
I have always thought it would be great to live in another time. I'm sure I would change my mind if I got to time travel and had to experience washing dishes and doing laundry without a dishwasher or clothes dryer.
Little Molly got to time travel and visit a busy street in the 1920's Steam-Punk era.

Winter's Child
Here's little Molly once again as faithful friend to her imaginary child. There to give comfort and protection to her little girl.
